American Health Acidophilus Powder consists of a combination of five selected strains of Lactobacillus organisms, namely Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus bifidus, Lactobacillus thermophilus & Lactobacillus salivarius which have been cultured on a special medium and freeze-dried. These viable organisms have been blended with instantized non-fat dried milk which provides nutrients to the organisms once the product has been ingested. American Health Acidophilus Powder aids in re-establishing and re-enforcing favorable intestinal flora. When packaged, 6gm (approximately 1 tablespoon) provides a minimum of 500 million organisms. This natural pleasant tasting product may be taken either directly in its dry form: sprinkled over cereals, salads, cottage cheese, etc.: or incorporated into cold beverages such as milk, fruit juices or water. Product sold by weight only, not by volume. Setting will occur in shipping and handling.
Directions/Recommended Usage:
